How Hello Chicks works

A normal day takes a few minutes.

1. Set up your farm

   Enter your sheds, flocks, bird counts, breed if known, and opening feed stock. You can leave unknown costs blank.

2. Record the day

   Add eggs collected, dead or culled birds, and feed issued. The app shows what it understood and you confirm it. Drafts are kept if you are interrupted.

3. Record sales and payments

   Note each sale, any returns or deductions, and payments as they arrive. Each buyer balance updates and reconciles.

4. Check the numbers

   See hen-day rate, feed cost per saleable egg, feed stock and what is due. Read alerts that explain what changed and what to look at.

5. Back up and share

   Records sync when you have a connection. Export what you choose, or restore on a new phone.

Your records stay yours

Records are used to run your account. Sharing data to improve the app is a separate choice, off by default, per type of data, and you can withdraw it. Read the privacy summary.
